Camp Description:
Explore the colorful world of watercolor painting in this summer art camp. Participants will learn various watercolor techniques, engage in color mixing activities, and experiment with different artistic expressions. This camp is designed to spark creativity and provide hands-on experience in watercolor painting.

Camp Structure:

  • Fundamentals of Watercolor: Learn the basics, including how to set up your painting space and manage water-to-paint ratios.
  • Technique Exploration: Experiment with techniques such as wet-on-wet, dry brushing, and using resist methods to see how they alter the paint's behavior and appearance on paper.
  • Color Mixing Magic: Discover how to mix colors effectively, using experiments to understand color theory and create a range of hues.
  • Creative Projects: Apply learned techniques to complete various paintings that reflect personal style and artistic decisions.
