Camp Description:
In this exciting course inspired by the Wings of Fire series, young artists will have the opportunity to create their own dragon characters and stories. Participants will learn to develop unique dragon designs, craft compelling storylines, and transform their ideas into comic book form. With a focus on character development, panel creation, and storytelling, this course will ignite imagination and bring each student's dragon-filled world to life.

Session Structure:

  • Dragon Character Design: Learn how to design your own dragon characters, focusing on details like wings, scales, and personalities, inspired by the Wings of Fire series.
  • Storyline Development: Create engaging stories for your dragon characters, exploring themes like adventure, friendship, and bravery.
  • Comic Panel Creation: Learn the basics of comic layout, including how to create dynamic panels that guide the reader through your story.
  • Inking and Coloring: Add depth and detail to your comic using inking techniques and vibrant colors to make your dragon stories stand out.
  • Final Comic Showcase: Present your completed dragon comic to the class and share the unique story you’ve created.

Materials Provided:
