In "World of Masks: Design, Culture, and Creation," elementary students are invited to discover the diverse and vibrant world of mask-making. This 15-hour course provides an enriching experience that combines art, culture, and creativity. Students will explore various global traditions of mask design, learning about the cultural significance and stories behind different masks. They will be guided through the process of designing and creating their own masks, using materials like paper mâché, paint, and decorative embellishments. The course emphasizes artistic expression and cultural appreciation, allowing students to develop their own unique masks while gaining a deeper understanding of global art forms. This class is ideal for young learners who are interested in hands-on artistic creation and exploring world cultures through art.Requirements:No experience is needed, only an interest and curiosity about art!Materials Needed:All materials are included in this course!
