"Shadow Theater: Puppetry and Performance" offers elementary students an engaging opportunity to explore the art of shadow puppetry. This course, spanning 15 hours, is designed to introduce the fundamentals of puppet creation and performance art. Students will learn to design and craft shadow puppets, understand the basics of puppet movement, and develop simple narratives for their performances. The class emphasizes creative expression and storytelling, culminating in a final performance where students showcase their handcrafted puppets and storytelling abilities. This course is ideal for children who have an interest in both visual arts and theatrical performance.

Requirements:

No experience is needed, only an interest and curiosity about art!
