Description
Description:
In "Botanical Illustration and Nature Art," elementary students get the unique opportunity to blend the art of botanical drawing and painting with the craft of creating their own natural dyes and watercolors. This course guides students through detailed observations of plants and flowers, teaching them to capture these elements through pencil sketching and watercolor painting. A special feature of the course is the hands-on experience of making watercolors from natural dyes, where students will learn how to extract colors from various plants and use them in their artwork.Additionally, the class explores creating art directly from nature, using materials like leaves, twigs, and flowers to create nature-inspired pieces. This approach not only teaches botanical accuracy in illustration but also encourages creativity and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. Perfect for young artists who love nature and are curious about the intersection of art and natural sciences.Requirements:No experience is needed, only an interest and curiosity about art!Materials Needed:All materials are included in this course!
