Description

Calling all Adventurers for our Swiss Family Robinson Adventure Camp!

In this week-long class, students read (or listen to) the Guided Illustrated Classic book of Swiss Family Robinson and do what they do!  This is our most popular class every summer, and is a wide array of adventures packed into one week.  Kids ages 6-12 will start the morning with 15-20 minutes of listening to the book while they draw, then we spend the rest of the day doing what they did in those chapters!  Together we will make rope, build bridges to hold up to 50 pounds!, make our own snacks based on food that they eat in the book, make maps and make them 3d with paper and clay sculpture, and so so much more! We end this week with a fabulous feast and celebration just like the family had.

Note: this class is slightly more expensive because it includes many unique supplies!

Students can expect to --

  • explore and get messy!
  • test out new ideas as individuals and also as a team
  • have a LOT of fun as we build big and small objects
  • try new food and see if we like it or don't like it!

Skill Level:

Anyone! We recommend that students arrive ready to explore and create! Bring your imagination!

Materials:

All materials and snacks are included in this course. We do recommend that students bring a water bottle labeled with their name.
