Course Description:
This course builds on foundational gardening skills, focusing on the application of art and design principles to create a garden that is not only productive but also deeply reflective of personal style and aesthetics. Over four weeks, participants will learn how to analyze and apply elements of art—such as color, form, line, texture, and balance—to develop a garden space that is both mindful and beautiful. This course is ideal for those who want to transform their garden into a cohesive expression of personal aesthetics while maintaining its functionality.

Participants should have some prior knowledge of basic gardening and an interest in expanding their understanding of garden design. This course is suited for gardeners who wish to deepen their ability to create spaces that reflect their personal aesthetics and values.
Materials:
All necessary materials will be provided, including access to design software, graph paper for sketching, and a variety of plant catalogs for inspiration. Participants are encouraged to bring photographs of their current garden space and any inspirational materials they have collected.
