Description

The Sculpture Beginnings class is a comprehensive and engaging four-week program designed to introduce students aged 6-12 to the captivating world of sculpture. Through hands-on activities, projects, and explorations, students will develop artistic skills, critical thinking abilities, and an appreciation for three-dimensional art forms. Students will learn foundational sculpting techniques, explore form, space, and texture, and work with diverse materials. Creative problem-solving activities, exposure to contemporary sculptors, and a collaborative learning environment further enhance their artistic journey. By developing observation skills and engaging in self-expression, students will embark on a transformative exploration of sculpture, nurturing a lifelong passion for the arts.

Requirements - 
A curious and interested mind, no experience is necessary for this course.  

Materials - 
All course materials are included, though students may receive lists of supplies if they would like to practice at home after the course ends.
