Description

In "Paper Sculpture Techniques," students aged 6-12 will dive into the intricate and fascinating world of 3D paper sculpture. This four-week course is designed to teach students a wide array of paper sculpting methods, from origami and quilling to paper cutting and layering. The class aims to foster creativity and innovative thinking by encouraging experimentation with various paper types and forms.

Course Outcomes for Elementary Students - 

Origami techniques
Paper quilling
Paper cutting
Layered paper sculpture
Basic design and construction concepts

 

Requirements - 
A curious and interested mind, no experience is necessary for this course.  

Materials - 
All regular course materials are included, though students may bring in things from home for the sculpture work.  We'll happily store them throughout the class so they have it! Students may receive lists of supplies if they would like to practice at home after the course ends. 

Note - 

We do not have class on Memorial Day.  As such, this course is only three weeks long and is slightly less money as a result.
