Nest & Nurture Art Class
Designed for ages 3-6 and their parents/guardians/caregivers
Nest & Nurture Art Class provides a unique opportunity for children ages 3-6 and their caregivers to explore art together in a collaborative, nature-inspired setting. This class combines playful, sensory-rich activities with thoughtful learning, offering a shared experience of creativity and discovery for both children and adults.
Each session begins with storytime, introducing an artist or concept in an engaging, accessible way to spark curiosity and set the tone for creative exploration. Afterward, families dive into hands-on projects like painting, drawing, and collage-making, focusing on key artistic elements like color, shape, line, texture, and form. Together, children and caregivers experiment with different materials, exploring the joy of creation side by side.
This shared artistic experience not only nurtures creative expression, but also enhances fine and gross motor skills for children. Additionally, the class fosters social-emotional growth by encouraging teamwork, communication, and empathy between children and their caregivers—all within a fun, supportive environment.
Note: This registration includes two people - the child and also the parent/guardian/caregiver. We recognize that the parent/guardian/caregiver may change per week with different family schedules - this is welcome and wonderful! However, please limit it to one child and one adult for Cultivate staffing and material purposes.
