Introduction to Pencil Shading is a foundational course designed to teach young artists the essential techniques of shading with pencils. Over the course of four weeks, students will learn how to use shading to create depth, dimension, and texture in their drawings. The class will cover a variety of shading techniques, including hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, and blending. Students will practice these techniques through guided exercises and projects, gradually building their skills and confidence. By the end of the course, participants will be able to transform simple line drawings into dynamic and realistic artworks using pencil shading.
