Comics: Sequential Art and Storyboarding is an engaging course designed for young artists interested in the world of comics and visual storytelling. Over four weeks, students will explore the fundamentals of creating sequential art, focusing on how to effectively tell a story through a series of images. The course will cover essential techniques in storyboarding, including panel layout, pacing, and transitions, as well as the integration of text and visuals to enhance the narrative. Students will work on developing their own comic strips, from initial concept and character design to final inking and lettering. This course is ideal for aspiring comic book artists and storytellers eager to bring their creative ideas to life through the art of comics.

A curious and interested mind, no experience is necessary for this course.
Materials -
All regular course materials are included, though students may receive lists of supplies if they would like to practice at home after the course ends.
Note -
This class is three sessions long, as we will not have class on Thanksgiving. As a result, it is slightly cheaper than our four week sessions.
