Description

Art School Applications and Portfolios is a course designed to support Juniors and Seniors, but any teen can join for additional practice and work.  This class will guide teens through the process of applying to different art schools, including Kendall College of Art and Design, University art school programs, and others.  Students spend time preparing different applications, and preparing and presenting a compelling portfolio for art school applications. Over four weeks, students will learn how to select, refine, and showcase their best works, understanding what art schools are looking for in a portfolio. The course will cover essential topics such as portfolio layout, artist statements, and the application process. Each session will include personalized feedback, practical tips, and strategies to help students create a professional and cohesive portfolio that highlights their unique artistic strengths. This class is ideal for aspiring art students who want to enhance their chances of gaining admission to top art programs.
